Tim Ward - Camp Director

Beginning his 14th year at Pepperdine University, and nineth as the Womens' Soccer Head Coach, Tim Ward looks forward to his eight summer with Malibu Soccer Academy. A former first team Academic All-Far West Region pick at nearby California Lutheran University, Ward captained the Kingsmen to three SCIAC Championships while garnering All-League honors in both his junior and senior seasons. Ward also coached the boys team at Agoura High School from 1989 until 1995, and in 1995 led the Chargers to their best ever finish in the highly touted Marmonte League. As the head coach of Pepperdine's team, Tim picked up his 100th career win in 2006 and has compiled an overall record to date there of 109-51-21 (.660). Ward has led the program to five consecutive NCAA tournament appearances (2001-2005), including two "Sweet 16" appearances. In 2002, for his accomplishments, he was voted by his fellow collegiate coaches as the West Coast Conference and NSCAA Division I Women's Western Region "Coach of the Year". He was also named Soccer Buzz West Region "Coach of the Year" and a "National Coach of the Year" runner-up.
